CFX_StampImage
Simple, neat, effective and extremely easy to put into an application. Just one of those "must have" things!

Question
Is there a similar tag or action to do this in plain HTML?
Thanks,
Matt

What Is CFX_stampImage? |
can be used to stamp a small image in semi-transparence into a larger image, for instance some copyright notice or logo into a photo. This is actually the best and practically the only way to protect your images published on your site. "Right click inhibitors" are just gadgets that will only discourage those who wouldn't even know what to do with you images anyway. Real pilferers know many other ways to get an image than right clicking on it!
With some copyright notices on your images, your best protection is the amount of work it will take any one to retouch them.
Images can be stamped or water marked with current image editing software, but if you allow users to send their own, this tag is the best tool to add a copyright notice on the fly, during the upload process.
