Careful with old ZIP codes
This probably works good, but I'd be careful about using the old zip code database with the product. The USPS makes hundreds of changes to their ZIP Code database every month.

You can find ZIP Code databases all over the internet. Make sure that you purchase one from an authorized distributor to ensure that you get current data. ZIPCodeDownload.com has worked well for our company.

The logic is working fine but you need to source the latest ZIP code from the Internet. One of them I used is http://www.zipcodeworld.com.

What Is CF_Zip Code Radius?
CF_Zipcode written by cfmsource.com is a coldfusion zipcode tag that will allow you to take a zip code passed from a user and return all of the zip codes found within the radius specified by the user. The puprose of this code is to be allow you to easily tie this code into your database so that you can return all of the records within your database that match the submitted radius and zip code.

Included in the download is a Full Test zip code database. I do not know how old the zipcode database is but is what was used in the testing of this code. And at the time of creation this database was a complete zip code database.
